DCE implemented a trading quota system for iron ore futures

Futures Daily News ( AliceZhao )On June 15, DCE issued a notice imposing a trading limit on iron ore futures contracts.

Starting from June 16, 2020, when the iron ore futures contracts are traded on the night of June 15, members or customers of non-futures companies shall not open more than 30,000 lots in a single day, according to the circular. One-day open position refers to the sum of the number of buy open positions and the number of sell open positions on all futures contracts of iron ore varieties on that day of non-futures company members or customers. At the same time, the number of positions opened in hedging and market making trades is not limited, and accounts with actual control relationships are managed according to one account.
